I retired from Bali Bras, Sara Lee Intimates. Married in Oct 1976. I love meeting new people so hope to hear from you. Drop me a line. I've been doing crafts of all kinds since I was a kid. I loved making things and especially things that are recycled. I had never stamped until 2001 when I went to a stamp class while on vacation. We went to a local store to buy the stamps we had used. OUCH. When we got home I saw a Stampin Up catalog and realized how much money I could save with their stamps and best part as they are sets that go together which makes for easy card making. After doing some thinking I decided I should sign up as a demo and see what happens. I didn't know the first thing about stamping and still learning. Retired from Sara Lee Intimates in Feb 2001. I was in sales after many years, since age 18, as an office person, secretary, office assistant, etc. I am out of Stamping Up since Spring 2017 but still have lots of supplies!!!! These days I'm back to quilting and having a great time.

June 09 stamp class

Here are the projects for the June 09 stamp class in my stamp room as well as the Senior Center.
Come check out the variety for this months class. You'll feel like dancing across the floor in your pretty dress, want to pick petals off your daisy tag card and all the dancing will make your stars fly on your patriotic card.

In this class you will make one of each of these choices. I think you will have fun. I'm sorry to say the sets used for the patriotic card are retired but the concept can be used with any set you have. It's your card, make it your own. The patriotic card was inspired by Diane Glenn. I'm sad to say that I did use a retired stamp set for this card but that's ok, some sets are just too good to give up.

The darling tag card with daisy , below, was inspired by Meg Loven. I tried to tweak them to make them my own by adding a card inside of it and you'll surely want to hang it on a package or better yet, on someone's door knob as a pleasant surprise.

The darling dress is using several of our designer papers. I believe I used Bella Rose for this this one.

Posted by PicasaThis tag card is using #113468 Scallop Circle die, $19.95. I also used this die to make the dress card above. The daisies are using the Flower: Daisies #2 die, #114520, $19.95. It punches out 3 daisies at once. So cool.

The dies are used with the Big Shot machine.

I also used wheels to roll the tag card as well as Pretty Petals background stamp #111008, $17.95 is such a pretty background stamp with butterflies fluttering by.

My Blog

May, 2009 when I started the blog and it's still a learning experience even in 2017.

If you are ever looking for a retired stamp set, ask me, I might have it and let it go.

As a follower you'll get emails when I post things which I tend to do in batches, once or twice a month once I get back on schedule.

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all comments.
