Southern Comfort Quilt piece

The quilt show has come and gone. Recently I joined a quilting bee called the "Beecassos" and so glad I did.

It's a very creative group and hopefully some of it will rub off on me. I also belong to the Forsyth Piecers and Quilters and they had a red/white challenge for the quilt show. Our group decided to do small mini quilts to hang as a group of our favorite beverages. Of course we would call it Southern Comfort. Mine is Sweet Tea, 3rd. down on left. It was a fun challenge and glad I did it. I'm still young on the creative side but it was fun to give it a try.

Check us out..... and we won first place in art category as well as Judges choice.

March 2012 class projects

We normally do 3 projects which are usually cards. Project 3 is a surprise. And.... you just might have 4 projects this month. Have you booked your seat yet. I still have seats open for this Sunday 3/4 @ 2 pm and 1-2 seats for Thursday 3/8 @ 1 pm. Class is normally 2.5 hr. and cost is $15.
