Quilting: Black and white fabric challege

You may have noticed that I discovered Zentangles a couple of years back.  Well I just love it but not so good at it.  I'm an artist wannabe.  Anyway, my friend Mary Jane and I meet half way every month for lunch and crafting.  Yep at the restaurant, Ryan's in Salisbury, we shelp in our crafts and we play most of the day in a corner table.  Lately we've been mostly working on our zentangles and chatting.  In March we decided to do a black and white challenge in fabric.  Well here are the results.  Mary Jane decided to do a jacket.

I had planned to do some wonky birds on a white shirt and didn't like my birds so change of plan.  I ended up making a small wall hanging.  I like it a lot.

My husband is very interested in Zentangle quilting, but he hasn't time to play yet. And I'm enamored with black and white projects right now. So I love your friend's jacket, and that little quilt is wonderful! I need to find a corner spot to play once in a while like you do!

I must say collecting the black and white fabrics has been most fun. Have an idea for another little project with the fabrics so will post when I get finished. Thanks for sharing. If you could only see the little corner I work in.

My Blog

May, 2009 when I started the blog.

It's still a learning experience. If you are ever looking for a retired stamp set, ask me, I might have it and let it go.

As a follower you'll get emails when I post things which I tend to do in batches, once or twice a month. For class dates go to my Stampin Up events calendar:

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all comments.
