The trick is to go lightly with color as you can add more. You can't take it away.
Here is another rose. This rose and technique is very addictive. Well I can't throw anything a way. Yes I had the polka dot piece of paper left over and thought great place to use it. I like the olive tones, more suited to roses, I think.This one again is two pieces. Textured white at top
and just some garden green cardstock at the bottom. I stamped the rose on the white as well as the green. This rose was with a touch of the new crushed curry and melon mambo. My roses are growing without any Miracle Grow. Actually I can grow these roses.
P.S. Did I tell you that I stamped the rose onto shimmery paper with versamark and sprinkled on white embossing powder and heat set. Then when you spritz the paper with water and touch the water with ink, it just spreads.
