About Me

I retired from Bali Bras, Sara Lee Intimates. Married in '76. I love meeting new people so hope you to hear from you. Drop me a line. I've been doing crafts of all kinds since I was a kid. I loved making things and especially things that are recycled. I had never stamped until 2001 when I went to a stamp class while on vacation. We went to a local store to buy the stamps we had used. OUCH. When we got home I saw a Stampin Up catalog and realized how much money I could save with their stamps and best part as they are sets that go together which makes for easy card making. After doing some thinking I decided I should sign up as a demo and see what happens. I didn't know the first thing about stamping and still learning. Retired from Sara Lee Intimates in '01. I was in sales after many years, since age 18, as an office person, secretary, office assistant, etc. I teach Stamp Classes in my stamp room and would love to meet you.

Getting ready for class #1

Room transformation getting ready for a class is quite a task. Often it's so crazy that all three tables are filled with baskets of items for class projects. Sometimes I cuts as I go from project to project. Often I'll create the project, record the items needed and fill the basket and then I go back and do all my cutting.

Lately I've managed to get it done in a timely manner but I remember when I'd hit a wall and be up creating til 4 in the morning the day of class. How dumb was that when there is so much inspiration out there.

So, while it's fun to create an original piece, it's just as much fun to find some inspiration and tweak it to suit what you have on hand.

Happy stamping everyone. So if you have not seen my stamp room, consider booking a class. I can set up to 7-8 people. Class is normally 2.5 hr. and cost is $15 per class for about 3 projects from cards to small gift items.

Did I mention it's in my basement so you will need to dress in layers.

So there's the process of getting ready for a class.

My Blog

May, 2009 when I started the blog and it's still a learning experience even in 2017.

If you are ever looking for a retired stamp set, ask me, I might have it and let it go.

As a follower you'll get emails when I post things which I tend to do in batches, once or twice a month once I get back on schedule.

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all comments.
