I retired from Bali Bras, Sara Lee Intimates. Married in Oct 1976. I love meeting new people so hope to hear from you. Drop me a line. I've been doing crafts of all kinds since I was a kid. I loved making things and especially things that are recycled. I had never stamped until 2001 when I went to a stamp class while on vacation. We went to a local store to buy the stamps we had used. OUCH. When we got home I saw a Stampin Up catalog and realized how much money I could save with their stamps and best part as they are sets that go together which makes for easy card making. After doing some thinking I decided I should sign up as a demo and see what happens. I didn't know the first thing about stamping and still learning. Retired from Sara Lee Intimates in Feb 2001. I was in sales after many years, since age 18, as an office person, secretary, office assistant, etc. I am out of Stamping Up since Spring 2017 but still have lots of supplies!!!! These days I'm back to quilting and having a great time.

August 2010 class projects: Little Purses, Shake Rattle and Roll "Because I Care" and a vintage card.

Here are a couple of this months projects. 3 cards are on schedule I think. Don't know about you but I've sure needed some Get Well cards lately.

Project 1:

3 little purses, Project 3: vintage card. Just a little contrast.

Project #2: Shake Rattle and Roll background card using "Because I Care" level 1 hostess set. Well I do think this is a pretty set.

What is Shake Rattle and Roll: Well take those stamps out of the Stampin Up box. Put a few drops of ink refill in the bottom of the box. Drop in about 3 marbles. Roll around. Now take your cardstock and using Dotto, adhere to inside of the lid. Now til the box over and roll the marbles all over the cardstock. You'll need a box for each color you use. Then just wash out and put your stamps back in. What a fun project for a cool background.

Now on the flower. We inked up the entire flower with the Certainly Celery and they with a dauber added color to portions of the flower and here's the result. I just love it. Happy stamping.

Project #3

The vintage card was suggested by one of my stampers who saw it on another site.

If you have the round scallop punch and maybe the spiral punch and coming to class this month, it sure would help if you could bring them. Be sure you have your name on your punches.

Love that purse card! What a great way to use the Round Tab Punch!

My Blog

May, 2009 when I started the blog and it's still a learning experience even in 2017.

If you are ever looking for a retired stamp set, ask me, I might have it and let it go.

As a follower you'll get emails when I post things which I tend to do in batches, once or twice a month once I get back on schedule.

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all comments.
