Today was spent cleaning off the back porch so sure hope all the pollen is gone. Cleaned once but this was the major cleaning, hosing it down. Don due for knee replacement later this month so he plans to spend his time on the porch.
I have a pillow pattern I want to make about porch sitting and what a nice place to chill out and daydream. Will post when I get it made. The rug I think is made from recycled plastic bottles or something, from Lowe's Home Improvement. Wow it's been great. Just hose it off as well. 
Can't say the same for the cushions. Haven't held up as well. Replace the seat cushions with new foam in '10 and mildew on some spots on fabric as well as some pieces fading a bit and it's Sunbrella.

Deck became a screened porch. Good investment. All built by one guy, Danny Nifong, Lex., NC. I'd recommend him to anyone. He's a gem. He only needed help up on the roof. Entire porch is covered in vinyl. Furniture is vinyl wicker so we just hose it all down.
The shelf has changed a bit but just couldn't bare the big empty space.
