About Me

I retired from Bali Bras, Sara Lee Intimates. Married in '76. I love meeting new people so hope you to hear from you. Drop me a line. I've been doing crafts of all kinds since I was a kid. I loved making things and especially things that are recycled. I had never stamped until 2001 when I went to a stamp class while on vacation. We went to a local store to buy the stamps we had used. OUCH. When we got home I saw a Stampin Up catalog and realized how much money I could save with their stamps and best part as they are sets that go together which makes for easy card making. After doing some thinking I decided I should sign up as a demo and see what happens. I didn't know the first thing about stamping and still learning. Retired from Sara Lee Intimates in '01. I was in sales after many years, since age 18, as an office person, secretary, office assistant, etc. I teach Stamp Classes in my stamp room and would love to meet you.

Alive and well

Nope, didn't fall off the face of the earth.  Just so much going on last couple of months.  We spent a great deal of time looking for things for the bathroom remodel and settling on a contractor.  Then we had tile issues that put us behind and it didn't get finished before Don's knee replacement.  I do now appreciate all that Don does even down to the little things of filling up the bird feeders.  Sure hate you missed the picture of me on the lawn mower.  Yep, I didn't have any trouble putting 10,000 steps on my pedimeter..... good for weight loss.   Now waiting on eye issues for me.

I know I'm behind on posting supply list for past project and even posting the last projects.  To all my stampers, I thank you for coming to my classes when you don't even know what we'll be making.

I'm currently working on the July projects and hope to have them posted tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

Thanks for all your support and for following my blog as sad as it's been lately.

Don't forget that you can place an order directly on my Stampin Up blog, http://www.joanlowder.stampinup.net/ as well as signing up there if you think you might like some free stuff.

Be sure to keep up with your on line purchases and make a note that you get one point for every $30 purchased and when you reach 15 points, let me know the dates of your orders and order totals of product only, and make your selection for a free stamp set from me.

Bathroom is still not done but I'll post pictures when it's finished.  We won't be doing the kitchen any time soon, that's for sure.  Don is now off the walker and cane and moving faster than snail pace.  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope to be back to normal pretty soon.

Spent yesterday in downtown Winston Salem with quilter friends and then we walked to some art shops and left with inspiration stiring in my veins for craft projects and quilting.

Please check back later for past and current projects.

Again, thanks bunches for your patience and support.

My Blog

May, 2009 when I started the blog and it's still a learning experience even in 2017.

If you are ever looking for a retired stamp set, ask me, I might have it and let it go.

As a follower you'll get emails when I post things which I tend to do in batches, once or twice a month once I get back on schedule.

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all comments.
